Argecy Computer Joins SecureAgent Sales Channel

Seasoned computer reseller and problem solver Argecy Computer Corporation has been named SecureAgent Software’s exclusive agent for the IDG 9074 Secure Communications Controller in the upper Midwest, said SecureAgent President Brent Johnson.

“Argecy brings mainframe market savvy and a much appreciated customer service priority to our developing sales channels network,” Johnson said.  “We are pleased to have them as a marketing partner and an ally in serving our controller’s users.”

The IDG 9074 controller connects to a host via an ESCON adapter and provides continuous support of SNA and non-SNA sessions.  It replaces IBM’s 3174 and 3174-type controllers and competes with IBM’s 2074 and related controllers.   The IDG 9074 is used by businesses and institutions in the United States and Europe, including AOL/Time Warner, American Century, Munich Savings Bank, Amadeus, Siemens and other large customers.
