Abstract
The Lexmark MS617dn is a monochrome laser printer designed for medium workgroups that need to efficiently print complex documents with graphics and images. It features integrated duplex printing, a print speed of up to 50 ppm, and a monthly duty cycle of up to 175,000 pages. With 256MB of standard memory expandable to 1.2GB, a dual core 800MHz processor, and Gigabit Ethernet, the MS617dn can quickly print documents with complex graphics. The input capacity handles up to 2,300 sheets of paper with the additional trays, while Unison Toner provides consistent image quality from first to last print. Mobile printing allows users to print from desktops and mobile devices.Key specifications of the MS617dn include 1200 x 1200 dpi print resolution, 650-sheet standard input capacity, 250-sheet standard output capacity, and support for media weights from 16-43 lb. 2"Recommended Monthly Page Volume" is a range of pages that helps customers evaluate
Lexmark's product offerings based on the average number of pages customers plan to
print on the device each month. Lexmark recommends that the number of pages per month
be within the stated range for optimum device performance, based on factors including:
supplies replacement intervals, paper loading intervals, speed, and typical customer
usage.
3"Maximum Monthly Duty Cycle" is defined as the maximum number of pages a device could
deliver in a month using a multishift operation. This metric provides a comparison
of robustness in relation to other Lexmark printers and MFPs.
