Understanding that security considerations for MICR printing vary from organization to organization, Rosetta Technologies has configured models of the new SP 8300DN MICR printer with features designed to meet these requirements. We have added locks to both standard paper trays so sensitive check stock is secured from unauthorized access. The Guardian model, in addition to tray locks, adds the capabilities of Locked Print, Hard Drive encryption and Disk Overwrite. All models feature robust authorization and datastream protection security features. The easy-to-use Web Image Monitor allows administrators to turn security features on, add users and configure the system for optimal performance.
